I'm the owner of Polyvorians.blogspot.com.
and my Polyvore account is Laurae. (Formerly known as Ethereal Dawn, and Folkloria.)

1. How did you find out about Polyvore.com?

There was a thread on elle-girl.nl/forum, and I was always interested in making my own clothing combinations.

2. Have you ever won a contest?

Yes, i won the 'Indie Fixx Fashion with Amy Bengston' contest. There were only 3 hours left and I had nothing betters to do. I found a great dress with the google search engine. I used a lot of nature friendly stuff.

3. What inspires you to create such wonderful sets?

Nature, music and other people sets. Little things can do great things.

4. Have Polyvore changed your personal style?

No. But it gives me the freedom to create whatever I want. A lot of things I made in the past are things that I will never wear in real life. Even if I had enough money to buy all those things.

5. How would you describe your style in 3 words?

Strange, Bohemian, Elegant.

6. If you had to choose 4 items to make the set of your dreams, which items would you choose?
(Don’t forget to explain why you choose each item.)

- A corset by Fairygothmother.com, because I love the Victorian era. Everything was so elegant.
- Boots by irregular choice. They have always amazing shoes.
- A Skirt by Lip Service. Dark high quality wear.
- And a necklace by Tarina Tarantino. Pricey but cute.

7. Do you think there's a big difference between the way American people and people from other countries dress?

There will always be a difference. Every country has different stores and companies. Sites like eBay make a lot of things possible.

8. Have you ever used an item too many times in your sets?
If so, why did you use it so many times?

There’s a corset that I used for 3 sets.
I wanted to show how you can make completely different looks with the same item.

9. Is role-playing on Polyvore a way to escape from reality or does it count as creative work, or both?

It counts as creative as long people use more items than a picture with some text.

10. If you had the chance to change one thing on Polyvore. What would you change and why?

I would change the colour scheme.
It’s too basic for my own taste. I love to experiment with colours.
